    Quick question.

    I had a member sign up for our Four family membership at $80 per month. This is a recurrring payment.

    We want to offer he $5 off per month.

    For this first month we just gave her $5 back

    I thought the best way to do this is create a coupon that would expire after 1 year. I did this but how to I add it to this member now that she already signed up?

    Hi Chas,

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    If you are only needing this for a small amount of members you can do the following.

    Create a special level that’s priced at the new discounted amount and send through the direct link for checkout.

    Some payment gateways allow you to edit subscriptions directly inside the gateway (i.e. Stripe) which may be a possible solution too.

    I was also thinking of asking your users to cancel and re-signup for the same level with the discount code, however you may run the risk of your users not signing up again.

    I think the first method mentioned might be a good work around, all they will need to do is signup for the new level to receive the new discount price without canceling their existing membership.
