Photon stops images from being square

Do you have “Disable WordPress Thumbnails?” set to Yes under Events > Settings > General > Performance Optimization (Advanced)?

Do not showing featured image after search event result only show title and data and time
why

I didn’t have “Disable WordPress Thumbnails?” set to Yes, it was set to No. I changed it to Yes and the images all became rectangular (without turning Photon on).

Turning “Disable WordPress Thumbnails?” back to No made them return to being square.
