Formatting a WordPress Video Playlist

I am primarily a designer, not a developer, so I am having a bit of trouble with the wordpress video playlist. I would like to have one video player that can switch between videos. Initially, the wireframe has centered links above the video player – in a very clean look. However, when I use “insert video playlist” the only option is to have a list beneath – with no formatting options. Is there any way to change this functionality without using js/html/css – I’ve looked into these options and I can’t really figure out the integration of them. I wouldn’t even know where to place the files for this to work.
