Error when using email format XYZ.org.au

    Hi there,

    First of all, thank you for creating the plugin and sharing! It’s very easy to use and seems to work most of the time. But it causes issues when I’m trying to use an email in the following format: [email protected]

    Like so:

    [wp_paypal_payment_box email=”[email protected]” options=”18 Playgroup meetings $140 :140.00|36 Playgroup meetings $200 :200.00″ currency=”AUD” reference =”Reference e.g. Student’s Name”]

    …but the above gives me a dead end error message:

    “We’re sorry, things don’t appear to be working right now. Please try again later.”

    The same shortcode seems to work fine with other emails in a format XYZ.domain.com

    Is there a known issue with the [email protected] type of email format? And if so how can I troubleshoot it?

    This plugin doesn’t do anything special with the email address. It simply submits to paypal whatever email you give to it. So this is a paypal thing. You have to ask them why they are not not accepting that paypal email address you want to use.
