Did you try to open wp-content/wp-cache-config.php and fix PHP tags? I tried to describe details in previous posts.

I’m not sure for The cache directory () did not exist and could not be created by the web server.? Maybe you should remove everything from wp-content/cache and try to reset ownership of this directory.

In wp-content> cache there is only one et (elegant themes) folder with a css file of divi theme

This file is part of wp-super-cache plugin, you can modify without affecting wordpress or other plugins.

Probably, it’s only issue missing PHP tag at the begin. It seems that’s enough to add <?php.
