Catalogue sidebar selection

  • Hi team,

    I have your catalogue on my website and I would like to know if there is a feature or how to do it.
    I have the sidebar on Hierarchical mode and when you click on a category, the sub-categories expand, when you click on a sub-category and then you want to click on another subcategory from another category, nothing happens.

    Is there a way to configurate it that when you click on another subcategory from another category, to like automatically select the category of that exact subcategory?

    And if it’s not possible, can you walk me through on what .js to modify the clicks?

  • Hi mikey,

    We currently have no such feature. If you manually select a category, and then select a sub-category from a different category, it will unselect the previous category that you had manually selected. However, it will not automatically select the parent category of the sub-category you selected. This is by design, so that someone can select multiple sub-categories from different parent categories, if they want to. Since we have never tried or tested such a feature, we are unable to provide specific code customization to achieve it.
