Yup, it’s what I expected. It’s happening because you’re using Jetpack’s Comment module. The plugin is made to work with WordPress’ built-in comments as they allow us to extend them, while Jetpack’s comment module removes all the hooks that we use.

If you disable Jetpack’s comments module, it will start working. Let me know if it does. ??
