Widget in NextGEN Gallery

  • After updating to WP 2.7 and NextGEN Gallery 1.0.2 I have a problem to activate the NextGEN plugin. I get this error emssage:

    Fatal error: nggLoader::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/eskilsky/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/widgets/widgets.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/eskilsky/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php on line 236

    I have a NextGEN Widget in the sidebar but can’t find the Widget anymore.

  • There is an upgrade problem it seems like. I would guess it’s because of two simualtaneous upgrades of various plugins at once. If this isn’t the case, no matter!

    To fix: download the ZIP and then UPLOAD the widgets directory as it either DID NOT install that folder OR it only partially did.

    This happened on one of my sites when I accidently did two updates at once. I just copied the “widgets” directory in the ./nextgen-gallery/ folder from one website to the other.
