Problems with Displaying Map

  • Hello,

    We have been using your plugin in conjunction with Page Builder by Site Origin. Maps should display on front pages and on sites when you click through: https://amandladurban.org.za/sites/

    For the sites, we have been adding blocks of content like this to display the map on different pages:

    <div id=”map” style=”position: relative; background-color: #e5e3df; overflow: hidden; width: 100%; height: 350px;margin-bottom: 25px;”></div>

    It was working fine but all of a sudden the map is no longer showing. Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting please?

    Thanks for your message. I cannot show you the map – that is the problem, the map is not showing.

    We’ve noticed that WP google map plugin is not installed on your site. Please activate the plugin, insert the proper API key with the help of this link . Create location, add location on the map and display map via shortcode on page. Please try this and let me know if you face any issue after this.

    Hello,

    I rolled back your plugin to an old version and it worked fine but when I updated it, I still see the grey screen where the maps should be. There doesn’t seem to be any conflict with other plugins.

    I also followed your instructions here to update the API: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/important-changes-google-maps-api-v3-website-owners-sandeep-kumar but it didn’t work.

    The map should display:

    *On the front page: https://amandladurban.org.za/ and
    *On the sites, like this, for example: https://amandladurban.org.za/cartwright-flats/

    I am using Page Builder by Site Origin and adding blocks of content like this to display the map on different site pages:

    Please help if you can.
