• Hi everyone….

So I have a problem and I do not really think it has anything to do with the apache2 settings.

I have installed a wordpress website on my local server computer.
Now, I can acces phpmyadmin and anything BUT the wordpress websites.
This ofcourse makes me think its WORDPRESS and not the webservers fault.
Permalinks in wordpress are set to https://www.mydomain.com

Im trying to load the website from: 192.168… Localhost and my external IP. but it just sits there loading.
And when I try to acces the website from my phone/outside the local networks, the website works completely fine!

I have been working on the website for a while now and I can’t really do a re-install.
Anyone know what could cause this problem?

It’s not being caused by WordPress.

It probably related to the settings in your router or network firewall appliance. Some info about what might be happening and why.

    Well this seems very odd.
I can create a file on my system called for example: indextest.html
I can access this file on the same server and in the same directory as wordpress, locally.
I believe this has to do with the permalinks in wordpress maybe?
Everything works on local and externally but the actual wordpress website.

I can access this file on the same server and in the same directory as wordpress, locally.

    – How, by using the domain (www.yoursite.com/indextest.html) or by using the private LAN ip (eg: 192.168.x.x/indextext.html) address of the server?

    – What’s in your wordpress URL’s in your general settings, your domain name or a private LAN ip address?

These statements seem to be a bit in conflict –

“when I try to access the website from my phone/outside the local networks, the website works completely fine”

    and..

“Everything works on local and externally but the actual wordpress website”

Can you clarify which statement is correct? Does it (your wordpress site) work from outside your own network, or no?

Lastly, can you share the domain name you’re using for your wordpress site. or a link so someone can take a look at the site and your server responses?
