    Just used WPAU to upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.7. It appeared to go swimmingly. I can log into the admin page and navigate there. However, in the dashboard, while it shows that there are 1300 posts, 6 pages, etc., when I click on edit posts it says
    ” * All (1,309) |
    * Published (1,300) |
    * Drafts (6) |
    * Private (2)
    No posts found”

    The blog itself, for all pages and posts, gives the error,”Could not find the requested page. Use the navigation menu to find your target, or use the search box below:” – Searches requested come up empty.

    I was concerned about plugins that aren’t supported or don’t extend to 2.7, but all appear to be functional, at least where they appear in the sidebars.

    I am NOT a programmer, can handle html and css, but not php. The “simple” instructions for upgrading manually didn’t seem very simple to me; thus I used the plugin (have used it previously with success on other sites). I’m afraid I don’t know how to rollback to 2.0.4 without some guidance.

    So my first hope is that someone can help me fix the problem so I can remain in 2.7, and failing that, that someone can tell me how to get back to where I came from. I do have backups of all files and the database.

    TIA – Averill

    Sorry about the double posting. When I clicked “Post” the first time I got an error that said “Could not find Subject,” so I thought it didn’t work. Now I’ve gone and compounded the issue by responding to my second post. Talk about clutter.
    Apologies go on and on …

    Now a triple posting, can’t help but reply to my own posts. The issue appears to be fixed (though something ugly may still crop up). I disabled the old Category Visibility plugin and voila! everything appears now.

    Now for checking out the new category plugin I saw the other day …
