Problem with VAT

  • Hello,
    I cannot configure the plugin. I give an example to try to understand it.

    I have free shipment with 70€ (VAT included). I want the message to be shown from 40€ (VAT included) in the cart. Then, I have put 70 in field “price” and 40 in field “price threshold”.

    I make an example of 60€ (VAT included) in cart. So it rest 10€ for the free shipment. 10€ is the result I am looking for to be shown in the notice.

    The variable %price% that shows instead is 20,41€.
    If I mark the checkbox “Use price tax(VAT) for cart total”, then the variable %price% shown is “4,05 (without VAT)”.

    How can I configure it to show 10€, what is the quantity the customer is going to understand?

    Plugin uses cart total price for notices.
    Please provide your site URL with notices to check how it works.

    I have in my local computer. I have created a test site online to study this issue.

    Hi,

    All is correct two product without TAX cost 49.59€ and you need 20.41€ to get 70€
    If you uses option to use price with TAX, WooCommerce get TAX, but shipping also uses in this price.

    I really dont understand your answer. I understand that the two product costs 49,59 without tax, but the user is not interested in the prices without tax (all prices in the shop are with taxes included because it is an end consumer shop. The minimum order for free shipment, 70€, is also with taxes included).
    What the user is interested in is to know that if he adds 10€ more, the shipment is free. The result that should be shown, from the point of view of the ussability, is 10€.

    And I dont find a way to show this.

    Do you understand my point?

    Hi @ferchup,

    With enabled option “Use price tax(VAT) for cart total” plugin uses:
    Products price + Products Tax + Shipping Price + Shipping Tax.
    Without this option plugin uses:
    Products price.

    We will add some option to use Products price + Products Tax in next plugin release.
