Getting error on login after update

Hi, The error seems to be coming from “gmail-smtp-disable”. Have you renamed the plugin folder?

Same error here on Divi Theme. Also a weird error trying to load new media items, it seems to go through the media upload but fails creating the thumbnail with cryptic note “HTML Error” within the WP Dashboard with everything else working just fine… not a fatal interruptive error like the login. Since they both popped up at the same time, I disable the plugin, and both issues go away. Cleared all caches, everything else is updated and playing nice. Whenever I enable the plugin I start to have errors again.

@erik-haagenstuff, Can you please copy and paste the errors here? As of 1.1.4 the plugin only includes the necessary libraries (Google API Client & PHPMailer) in the settings area and when the wp_mail function is called to send an email. So I’m not sure how it’s causing an issue in the media upload or login.

Coud it be related to wordfence firewall? I’ve had issues with upload before with wordfence firewall activated. Here is the message. I get it with the latest version of php v5.6 and 7.0.

I also have the WordFence plugin activated.

On the media upload in media library, it presents the blank thumbnail with status bar as it uploads, when the bar gets to the end, this message appears at the top of the dashboard in a box…

When you dismiss it and reload the page, there is an extra item in the media library. It just has no thumbnail created. So it seems to upload in the database and crash in the post-upload processing.

I delete the image, then disable the plugin, then try it again and no error. Delete the image, reactivate the plugin, then try it again and I get the error.
