“Require users to be logged in to view site” and RSS Feeds

Hello.

When I enable the “Require users to be logged in to site” option, RSS feeds are blocked. Feed Validator says: “It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn’t find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.”

If I turn off the “Private site” option everything works fine.

Question: Is it possible to have “Private Site” and RSS Feed enabled at all?
