• DO NOT install this plugin!

There is a critical error (still unresolved despite developer assurances) that produces thousands of cron jobs, which will eventually crash your site and nearly permanently corrupted our entire server.

Over a month later, we are still having critical memory issues which prevents us from posting anything on WordPress (although our sites are at least back online)

Our experience with IT-SUPPORT team has been very negative. Despite providing them raw error logs and proof that the crashes were caused by the plugin, they insist that the problems are “site specific.”

I strongly recommend against installing anything produced by the company. Not only because of the code errors, the unacceptable way their team handles the problems they produce.

  • Dear maxbatt,

We are really sorry for the experience you have faced.

The reason why we labeled the issue site specific is that we have had several similar issues which have been fixed just updating the plugin to the latest 2.2.5 version. We completely understand that this issue has been global for some period of time thus why we have released an update with the help of which the cron jobs created because of the previous update must be gone from the websites and they will not be reproduced on the websites to which the gallery will be added from the scratch. You can test this on your own as well installing the plugin to a sample website where the gallery hasn’t been used before.

You have contacted us via Facebook and during our conversation, we offered you to appoint a TeamViewer session for having a look at the problem from your side and trying to fix it remotely. But, unfortunately, we still haven’t got a reply from you. However, we are completely sure that this issue can be fixed within a short period of time.

In any case, despite your negative opinion about the plugin we are still ready and happy to help you. So, we hope to receive your reply as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance

    Not accurate:

1.) As other customers have verified, no, version 2.25 does not fix the cron tasks. Our site still has 58,000 cron tasks, despite installing the update. If HUGE-IT is honestly still confused here, they can easily get more info by searching Google and seeing other people who’ve said the same thing.

2.) The information about Facebook is also not accurate. The only assistance your team offered via Facebook (after many time-consuming back-and-forths) was to request direct access to our company’s database, which is not a realistic request for obvious reasons.

Luckily, we did finally receive instructions for a patch – which actually came from another customer (not Huge IT). We will try this patch after we’ve had time to make a back up. But again, Huge IT support did not help us at all here …
