msword stuff

  • First to say i love this plugin! it does exactly what i need it to do, strip most of msword formatting junk, but leave the links and email mailto’s in place, its perfect.

    text that is inside the document – the very first line(s) looks like this:

    then the rest of the text is ok.

    is there a way to get rid of these id’s (presumably they change the id# each time).

    Thanks for the kind words. The anchors come from bookmarks in the original Word document, so if you remove the bookmarks, the anchors should disappear as well. Otherwise, there’s currently not an easy way to remove them.

    You could strip them by implementing a document transform, but that would mean writing some JavaScript in your theme or an additional plugin.
