After the update I have to remove your plugin: broken!

The update cause to me many issue. Try to restore the previous version but many issue also on this and maybe database has also been updated so I have issue also with old … but the bug and all issue is only in the new version.

As I AM unable to resume or download also the previous version I permanently removed this plugin for all website. So bad also there are no option to delete also database settings on uninstalling.

I am really sorry for your inconvenience.

This can happen after this update. I had to alter this plugins database entries. Altough there are mechanisms to prevent breaking things during migration, it obviously can occur.
You can resolve this by doing the following. This is tested and working. On a multsite, you will have to repeat the 2nd step for each subsite:

– Install the latest version of Nicescrollr and activate it.

– Then navigate to “Settings > Nicescrollr”, and there to “Plugin”. Open the “Reset Settings” tab and hit “Reset All”.

Depending on your error display settings you find the “Reset Settings” tab at the very end of the page. This will update the plugin entries in the database with the working default values and ensure the plugin will work as expected again. …even better, since the Nicescroll library is updated too and things scroll smoother than ever ??

So you may give it a try again.

N Demis, the plug in are unable to activate no error,
I press activate and does not work.
You create big issue to me and my websites, this is very bad for a plugin.

First because there is no link to let the user download the previous version bot bugged.

Second because this issue cause to me a big issue on the site

Nice to here there are reset settings who let me loose all customized settings after “a good update”.

Wordpress is unable to activate your plugin, end of the story maybe-

I found a bug in the plugin activation routine. As soon it is resloved and tested, an update will be released, within the next few hours. I am sorry you had to experience this.

– You should allow the user to download a previous version just in the case you made a very wrong update like in those days.

– Should be detailed in FAQ how to remove your plugin from the database because your new plugin has created a very big issue to me.

Seems your new plug in is broken not only is not bale to activate, on my website visitor was unable to see my website footer like your new plugin is no more scroll down well all the page.

This issue create big issue to me, website broken and no possibility to restore the previous situation if there are no recent backup but I need restore all my previous website all my previous backup.

Maybe also after the update your new plugin continue to cut my website footer and not only have issue on activating.

Very bad, I was love your plugin but seems the new update broke functions that works well before.

The problem should be fixed now with version 0.5.4.

Your update is scandalous.
Well, I tried to update your plug-in again to version 0.5.4 now when I update if my cursor was blue now is gray also cursor are immediately hidden this means update will not update only the folder plugin but edits the database this cause permanent issue that also if you restore the old backup plugin folder will not fix the issue.

Also the bug still be present on your new wrong plug-in with new bug added with this update.

Before the issue was that the scrollbar was unable to reach the end of the page and show my websites footer, now if you update to the last you will have the same issue plus the cursor will be now immediately hidden and will loose color.

Your update is completely broken for me also version 0.5.4

Now once again I must resume my website backup database and folder because your plugin update change also database!

As you can see after the last update the issue was no more only the end of the page showed is not the end of the page but also I loose the blue color of the scroolbar.

After the update seems database are edited permanently so you are unable to restore the only one old plugin who work.

Issues are now:

1. Footer is no more showed correctly seems the nicescroll are unable to understand where the page and website ends.

2. Scrollbar loose color and settings on new update

3. After the update scrollbar is hidden always or very quickly by default (very bad)

4. Once update you will have to restore folders and database for go back to the old plugin (the only one who work)

I just visited the page you posted an image of, it looks also fine.

I’ll take care of the autohide mode, it’ll be disabled from now on.

Future updates will not affect stored settings, so you won’t loose your custom settings anymore.

Is working and looking well because I resumed the backup with the old 6 Month plug-in !!!

Your latest plugin version are all broken for me and also created damage to my websites… solved now with a backup with the old one plugin who was working.

You can update now if you like.

The plugin will keep your settings and it will respond to document changes such as height, which means that your visitors will be able to scroll trough the entire document even if the height changes. That’s pretty cool.

Don’t forget to backup your database, as you should always do before installing new / updating existing software.
