This could be due to a Javascript error. Can you provide a link to a page with terms you have defined.

The page with the term, or a page that shows the term in use? The page for one of the terms is https://edu.t-bio.info/glossary/transcriptomics/. The plugin works fine for posts and pages. It even works for the definition page for courses we have setup within LessonPress. Just for the actual lessons within courses the tooltip does not pop up (you cannot see me hovering over the term in that photo, but you can see the url for the term in the lower left). The word is still highlighted, will direct you to the glossary page for the term if clicked.

You will have to register and sign up for the course to access the page, though. If you go down to “Significance to Healthcare” you will find “transcriptomics” used. Also, earlier in the lesson, RNA is used as a glossary term.

I’m sorry haven’t noticed before that the question is about Custom Post Type – the parsing of the Custom Post Type content is only available in the Pro version.

It’s not a custom post type. It’s from LessonPress from ThimPress. And it works find in the course description page, just not lessons under courses.

I’ve logged in to the page and currently can’t see the terms highlighted in the description of the course: https://edu.t-bio.info/course/transcriptomics/

Overall the CM Tooltip Glossary Free only parses the content of the regular posts/pages by using the_content() filter.

As I can see the content of the lessons is AJAX loaded so it may not be using the filter.

We purchased the full version, and it still does not work on lessons. I went to options and said to apply to course and lesson post types. You still see the term underlined and the url shows up bottom left, but the tooltip does not pop up.
