Foogallery shortcode will not parse on Facebook Instant Articles

    I am having issues specifically with foogallery on the WordPress instant articles plugin for Facebook.

    For some reason, the shortcode isn’t parsing for purpose of Instant Articles. I know there are things like transformer code that I am supposed to use, but it does not work at all because the shortcode is left unparsed, i.e it still shows [foogallery Id="123"] instead of the html. Foogallery still shows up fine on normal pages though.

    Is there something blocking another plugin from parsing foogallery’s shortcode? I tried other gallery plugins and their shortcode seems to work fine.

    I have tried on a fresh WordPress installation as well with the same result.
