    Hi,

I really could do with using Jetpack as I have followers on .com, the related posts and scrolling are useful too.

However I’ve had to switch it off as it slows my site down and causes all manner of CPU errors on the host server. Switching it off everything returns to the sort of parameters you’d expect from a site that receives 100-200 visits a day.

I’ve read that cron was causing issues but JP support seem to suggest they have solved that by altering the time and ensuring it doesn’t get stuck.

So, if that’s the case, what else could it be?

  • It would be hard to say, without being able to see server logs and what services are taking up all the usage. It is possible to try reduce the frequency that our cron jobs run (although at the current frequency, it shouldn’t cause any issues):

Another possibility is that Jetpack could have been conflicting with another plugin.

If you could enable Jetpack and connect it again on your site, I can run it through our debug tool to take a further look, I’ll just need your site URL.
