Trackback?

  • Can someone please explain “Trackback” to me?
    I went to a site that had a post I wanted to reference. At the bottom of his post was the link to “Trackback”. I clicked on the link and discovered that 2 other sites had referenced the post.
    I then posted to my blog. I gave a link to the guys homepage and a link to the guys “Permalink” for his post.
    My reference doesn’t show up on his “Trackback” list.
    How does this work?
