We just installed the free LearnDash Toolkit plug-in. I have this plug-in operating successfully on a non-multiuser blog. However, I am experiencing some issues on our multi-user blogs at our campus. I can’t find anything that says this can’t be used with multi-user. Can it be?

(The problems I am experiencing is that I flip the switch for a particular feature and it doesn’t ‘stick’. Also, I can’t get the options/settings to load for the features.)
    Thanks!

    Hi Leah,

There is some information on our site confirming that we don’t test in multi-user/multisite instances here. Having said that, we know of many sites (at least several dozen) using the Toolkit in multisite environments without issue.

I would try performing the actions with the browser console open to check for possible errors. On this page it does say that you’re using WordPress 4.5.3… Is that correct? It’s quite old and not something we actively test with. Have a look at the browser console for possible messaging first though.

I found the answer- thanks to my admin. In the code, you are checking to see if the user can see the admin menu- which checks for the multi-site admin and is why site admins can’t access the settings. He says the proper way to do this/way that will fix the issue is to use ‘current user can’ in the code. Please consider updating for future users. Thanks!

    Thanks Leah!

We’ll take a look, but if there’s a specific fix your admin implemented that would be better implemented in the plugin, he or she is welcome to submit suggested changes to the repo at https://bitbucket.org/uncannyowl/uncanny-learndash-toolkit. We love getting code submissions!

Another thing that doesn’t work with multiuser is the Front End Login. I enter in my username and password and then enter in the security. It keeps saying the form is empty. My admin tells me the login page should use SSL. — just noting this for others.
