Compatible with 4.8.x?

Not working for me and also whan I want to change manualy in my child theme functions.php …

Also not working for me on 4.8.1. I’m trying to delete sizes and the changes won’t save.

I’ve noticed issues also with this plugin lately. Such as deleted image sizes would not stay deleted. Since it appears the plugin may not be updated anymore, I am looking for the best alternative and am starting to experiment. I copied the code from the plugin to my functions.php file and somehow the sizes seem to be working though the code from the plugin seems incomplete. The sizes do not show on the Media Settings page anymore.

I really liked using Simple Image sizes but I need to reduce the number of plugins that I use and also make sure they are up to date and compatible. I hope other people join this thread and offer suggestions etc…

I just realized that another plugin I use has additional image sizes so I removed the Simple Image Sizes plugin code from my functions file. I’m going to try not to use the Simple Image Sizes plugin unless there’s an update.
