Bulk Add / Predefined Choices

  • I am very excited to see if this plugin helps solve my problem.

    I am in need of a inventory input solution for users whereby they can use a form to enter multiple pharmaceuticals with several input fields.

    The first 2 fields would be drop down fields: 1) categories of pharma 2) specific medicine.

    Ultimately< I want the second drop down to be contingent on the selection of the the first drop down selection.

    I am not sure if that is possible but either way, I have 25 Categories of pharma each with about 10-20 medicine names to be populated.

    Is there a way to easily Bulk Add Predefined Choices to this plugin?

    To answer your question – no, there isnt an easy way to bulk at options at the moment.

    Does it need to be in a repeatable list?

    Because Gravity Forms have released a conditional drop down tool …”Chained selects” https://www.gravityhelp.com/gravity-forms-chained-selects-v1-0-released/

    I wouldnt recommend trying to use a third party tool to make the field repeatable.

    This actually sounds similar to something I’ve done before … this isn’t how I did it, but would be worth you looking into

    I haven’t used it, but I would assume it takes care of turning the fields into drop downs, populating them and handling the conditional logic for the selects.
