API key-wordpress stats

  • I keep trying to add my API key to the wordpress.com Stats page in order to activate it and then I am sent to a page where I have to re-enter it, as there is a error, or I can click a second window that says it will add the blog to my account. When I click this, I keep circling and it does not accept the number. Double checked my API key and its working on the same blog with askimet. If anyone can give me some input I would much appreciate it.

  • Is this key from WordPress.com? If not, you would need to create an account there and use that API key. Note that you can just set up the account and not a blog there.
