adjust video height

    hi guys,

    arve seems to be taking away any possibility of adjusting the video height.

    please take a look at https://www.idea-werbewelt.de/ – i set the width to 49% – but the height can’t be adjusted by any means !important etc. in css.

    i .just used the code

    ‘<div class=”youtube-player halbebreite” data-id=”oB_ACoHmOcY”></div>’

    as everything else adds 500kb pageload.

    how do i achive that?

    ARVE handles the video height responsively based on aspect ratio (16:9 is default) and the video width. You can control the video with with the various max-width settings you can use to limit the width of a video.

    I do not know what the code is supposed to tell me and your site does not seem to use ARVE. I do not recommend or support mixing other video code with ARVE. But you can put ARVE shortcodes in a CSS grid to have for example 2 videos on the same row like you have on your site.

    Also if you are concerned about pageload you should consider the Pro Addon that eliminates the large pageload on initial load completely until the user clicks the play button.
