Follow buttons disappear from site

    After a period of time, the follow buttons on my wordpress site go away. When this happens I go to the plugin settings, and notice I am signed out. Signing back into AddThis and setting the profile resolves the issue temporarily, then after a few hours it goes away again, and I have to sign back in. I’m on v4.0.0 of the plugin.

    I’m not sure why you are experiencing this issue but a workaround is to use our Website Tools by AddThis plugin instead:

    I recommend that you deactivate our Follow Buttons plugin and install our Website Tools one. There are many advantages in using this plugin like accessing our entire suite of tools with additional customization and features. You’ll also get access to our analytics dashboard which allows you to gain further insight on your content and sharing data.

    Overall, it can perform everything that the Follow button tool can do but much much more.
