Backup & Restore

  • I have restored a MySQL backup into WordPress. This has now brought the site down.

    The other problem that I now have is that if I try to address my wp-admin login, I get the following error message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_sticky() (previously declared in /home1/customj1/public_html/wp-includes/post.php:756) in /home1/customj1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-sticky/wp-sticky.php on line 150

    Been struggling for 4 or 5 days here now so all help is appreciated!

  • try to rename this plugin “sticky” to xxsticky and check it back for this error

    Great thanks– can’t log into my back end now, but that’s another issue… Blindingly obvious I suppose.

    try to re-upload the index.php file or wp-admin files ..

    You need to update your wp-sticky plugin to the latest version, which is compatible with 2.7.
