Blubrry Audio Player: show notes link just re-opens the post in a new window

    I have the Blubrry Audio Player activated and configured. I was testing out the “shownotes” link, but every time I click on it, it just re-opens that same post in a new window. I was doing some hunting around and found a Blubrrry podcast episode that has the same player in it. So I clicked on the show notes link of that player and the same thing happened – the post just re-opened in a new window.

    I am hoping that I will be able to link to a file that contains the shownotes and episode transcription in a PDF format or set up an anchor link to a later section of the post itself. Any help here would be appreciated.

    Sorry we missed your posting until now!!!

    The show notes link goes to the page with the show notes, and yes if your player is on that page you end up in a loop as you observed.

    We currently do not have an option to override the link, but we do have something in the works. We did not think though of linking to a PDF, that is a good idea and I’ve added that to the feature TODO list. Thanks!
