Big problems with images

The images get imported somehow wrong: one moment they show up, another not and there is impossible number of images and without proper thumbnail. And the media month folders get HUUUUUGE, multiple GB’s which of course is not the case of the actual posts; there are no so big or many images, not in Facebook page or in the blog.
