Additional Form Fields

    Hi, is it possible to make additional form fields for example ‘Phone number’ and also make them a required field ? Thank you for any help.

    Hello there,

    Currently Optin Cat only supports two fields i.e. the name and the email and adding in another field such as Phone number is not possible. We’ve found visitors best convert into subscribers when the least number of fields is provided to them for filling out and we’ve found name and email combination to work best for most of our customers.

    Hi, thank you for explaining. Yes, i agree the less fields the better the sign up rate. I have explained this to the client. Also it’s still possible to get the phone number fields etc., when they go to the signup confirmation screen at MailChimp. I.E The MailChimp signup form is still independent of the plugin, and can have a lot of extra fields added there if needed.
