Getting 404 page not found

    I installed and activated the plugin and am getting this error:
    The requested URL /xmlsitemap.xml was not found on this server.

    Discourage search Engine visibility is not checked.

    I’m sure it is something I’m missing – can you tell me where to look? This is a fairly clean WP install – just setup to do some dev and testing. Not many plugins.
