Revert Option

When you optimized images, it main your original images has been replaced.
Currently, we work very hard to all images will replaced with the best options and we dont think users need to hold the original images.
But now, we will discuss with our team about your problems.

Thanks for your answer. Its not a problem as i said all is working nice. Only this option will be important in case someone isn’t happy with the images quality.. or maybe add option where users can hold old images (while thy check its quality for particular setting) and then turn off that option and next optimizations don’t hold the old images.

Also can you please tell me more about your plugin, why is better than others and if this has 2x compression by default?
How do you keep this plugin free, What is the catch?

If you want to hold original images, so you can uncheck Original option in Size Settings.
Your original files never be replaced.

Yes Option (checkbox) “keep the original images” and when this option is checked you can also show another option “revert original images”.

There should be 3 options:
1. Keep the original images (even this option checked images should be optimized but original images will stay in case someone wants to revert to them).
2. Revert original images (if option 1. is checked and original images stored, users can revert to original images)
3. Delete Original Images ( will delete original images and optimized will stay).

So f.e. I optimized images on “Very high” but Im not happy with the quality and I had option 1. (keep originals) then I can Revert to originals and then re-optimize them with “High” or “Medium”

Do you keep original images on your server? if yes then you can just ignore this above steps and user wants to reoptimize with different quality then base point will be original images in your server and not images already optimized.

– “Why is better than others?” : This plugin supports JPG and PNG compression with better features than some others plugin, e.g: no limitation for compressed image amount and size,etc. Especially, on next version 1.0.8, TP Image Optimizer will still auto-optimize all your images, even you close this window, without opening browser and waiting for the completing process of this plugin.

– Currently the compression type of TP Image Optimizer is lossy, and we will apply the lossless compression technology for our plugin in the future.

– “How do you keep this plugin free, What is the catch?” : Because we optimize the server technology for compression, we can save a lot in cost. So, you can still experience main features on the free version, if you want to advance the plugin, you should use the premium one.
