excerpts problem

  • I am having problem with my excerpts. wordpress strips the code out, so i cant display any images. I was looking for a work around so that i could put a image that would be followed by formatted text (ul)

    so i want to excerpt to look like:

    [picture]
    random random
    randoom random
    random random
    random random

    so how do i get html code back into my excerpts?

  • Use the “optionnal excerpt” when you write post… The field is located just below the the one you use to write post.

    This field will accept img and html tags to be displayed with “the_excerpt”.

    The auto generated excerpt from the post field itself will strip any formatting.
