no variation showing in back end

so, im trying to have a variable product, where you can select the colour and enter area size

woopricecal addeds the 2 area variables together and then you just select a color

my problem is, when i look in my orders the 2 numbers from wooprice show but the colour variable doesnt

so basically i can not tell what colour the customer has selected, as in wooprice removes all other variable data that hasnt anything to do with wooprice?

is this just how it works or is this a bug?
