Long Events in Events Manager

I’m using Events Manager Version 5.7.3

I want to see my events on every day they occur. I have enabled Show Long Events in both the settings and the calendar widget and they appear when I hover over the date, but not when I click on the date and go to the events page. Is there a way to do this?

Please note that I am not confident in messing with code. If this is the only way to do it, then can someone please talk me through it – pretend I’m an idiot please.
