WP 2.7: Fatal error when trying to open install.php

  • Hello,
    I’m trying to set up my first blog using wordpress 2.7 (no update). Upload was o.k. (filezilla), but I keep on getting the message ‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_admin() in (…) /wp-admin/includes/comment.php on line 159’ when trying to open install.php. Can anybody help me?

  • Call to undefined function almost always means all of the files did not get uploaded

    Thank you, Samboll, but I’ve checked this possibility, there are definitely all files uploaded…
    To make sure I’ve repeated the upload, and now I get another massage:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_robots() in (…) /wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 66
    Is there anything else I could try?
