Plugin was working great! All of the sudden while adding new participants’ photos it just started getting the following error:

The file selected for “Photo” must be one of these types: .

Does not have any issues with any other content; I modified the Max KB settings so it shouldn’t be an issue. Even downgraded to the previous plugin version and the issue still persists. We would prefer to stick with this plugin (and even get the combo search plugin).

    Thank You!

    Alex

What is the setting on your “Allowed File Types” setting…also what is the setting for the “values” field in your image upload field?

Sounds like you have a setting in one of those two places that isn’t working right.

    The Default:
    txt,pdf,mp3,mp4a,ogg,doc,docx,odt,rtf,zip,jpg,jpeg,gif,png

    The values parameter is empty.

Check to make sure that the “values” parameter is truly empty, no spaces or anything.

I can confirm that it is empty.

Unfortunately, despite it being empty, this issue is still persisting. :/

OK, try putting the list of allowed extensions for that particular field in it’s “values” parameter.

It works now! Thank you so much for your help!

    Hello @xnau and @ajerome,

I just want to add that if the Photo or File Upload field is set to Required, the values field can be empty. The file extension validation will be based on the Allowed File Types setting.

    Thanks,

    Adrian

Thanks Adrian, I’ll take a look at that.
