WordPress Post Preview Redirects to Home Page

    I am unable to preview posts. When I click on the preview button it shows the static front page.

    Zerif-lite version installed is 1.8.5.25 and I am using a child theme.

    To debug, I tried Zerif-lite as the parent theme and the issue still exists. When I switch to default WordPress theme, the issue goes away.

    No Errors in the log file.

    Any thoughts?

    Update – I just deactivated all the plugins and the preview works so it must be a plugin conflict. I am still troubleshooting and will update once I discover which plugin is causing the error.

    OK – It is a conflict between the plugin Gravity Forms and the theme Zerif Lite. I will open a support ticket with Gravity Forms but I feel like it is a theme issue since Gravity Forms and preview posts works with other themes.

    Any idea?

    Gravity Forms is not detecting issues on their end and confirmed it is a theme issue.

    UPDATE – This was an issue with ModSecurity in WHM. Once I deactivated the conflicting rules, the post preview functionality worked!
