Hi, very simply, the gallery won’t update any changes I make. Hitting ‘save video gallery’ just defaults any changes I make back to the current fixed state.

Initially, I had trouble adding a new video at all. The ‘Displaying content’ option was default set at 15 videos, and only changing this enabled the new video pop-up to appear. Thereafter, the content mode has changed to ‘show all’ and there is no reference to a numerical limit on videos. Though the ’15 videos’ box sometimes flashes up and disappears again in a buggy way upon reloading the page.

Currently, while I’ve managed to add the new video, any attempt to reorder it or change the description etc, defaults back to it being locked at the top of the list.

I can see new ‘Pro’ prompts that I don’t remember being there before. I understand that you want to drive people to the Pro option but it feels like maybe something in the last update is blocking usability? It worked fine a couple days ago.

Please advise. I’m in Firefox, OSX. I’ve deleted the cache, restarted, etc. No dice.

  • Don’t pay for the upgrade. Same thing happened to me, the video gallery wont switch to thumbnails view (or any other view) its stuck on content/popup mode, everytime I change it and save it, it reverts back to how it was.

So I thought, OK, no problem Ill just pay the $50 for the plugin. Didn’t fix it. They can’t fix it. There are still some major bugs in this problem but when it works it works well I guess.. Disappointed that there aren’t any other great options out there with search bars for big video libraries.

Good (bad) to know, I guess? Annoying because I’ve been using this gallery for a while now, and while updating has always been a bit buggy, it suffices and I don’t want to rebuild my whole site. But currently It’s stubbornly stuck at whatever it looked like yesterday, twanging back like a rubber band against any change I apply.
