Insert image url to frontpage

I fixed this by using “Themefunction” menu

Thanks for attaching the screen shot.
The image can be added in this section by going under “Appearance” > “Theme Options” > “Home Page” > “Featured Content” > Please click on “Add media”.
Also, if the image is to be added via Customizer, the entire image source needs to be added. For explanation, please refer this guide: https://cyberchimps.com/guide/theme-options-featured-content/
