WordPress Pligg?

Does anybody know of any plugins that would allow you to achieve a Pligg-style website within wordpress? Essentially, I’m aiming for a website whereby users can freely submit articles. Pligg has this functionality but it’s gui is too news-based. WordPress’ article-based interface is perfect but lacks the “community” features Pligg has.

I mean, even the very simple but elegant writing form featured in the prologue theme would be neat.

Any suggestions?
