Hi @robin-w , I have changed the username of one of my users and the @mention in the forum did not change, and still reflects the old username. The user hasn’t posted yet and I am not sure if it will change for future posts, but should all the @mentions in the old posts/replies changeover?

I’m not quite sure where style pack comes in – sorry it may do, there is so much in it now that I can’t remember if I have some code for this.

If it is a setting in style pack, then come back.

Otherwise let me know what other plugins you are running

@robin-w , yes, I am using a different plugin called username changer, to change the username. It is not a part of the Style Pack. I have done more research and found the answer which has nothing to do with the Style Pack.

    The answer is here:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-change-your-wordpress-username/

I found that if the user has already started posted in the forum, by using the ‘Username changer’ plugin, the nickname wouldn’t change even when it is changed in Users. So it is better to go into the phpMyAdmin section in cPanel to change the nickname (for the @mention use in bbPress). All old posts that had the old @mention name will change to the new one. Those who has not posted anything in the forum will have the new @mention name when the Username Changer plugin is used before posting.
