    Hello, I have a development site (dev.awaygames.co.uk) and a live site (www.awaygames.co.uk). We used dev.awaygames.co.uk to develop the site in the last few months and then wanted to migrate it across to the live https://www.awaygames.co.uk site. This has worked via duplicator. However, many of the links have remained as dev.awaygames.co.uk on the site, including the ‘home’ button, so there are hundreds of links across the site that are now pointing back to the old site. I am pretty sur when we did this the other way around (i.e copied the live site to the dev site) that it changed everything to dev.awaygames.co.uk, and so I was expecting it would work the other way around.

    Is there anything I should ahve done different and is there anything I can do now to avoid me having to manually have to edit every link on the site?

  • A few things you can try:

    1. On step 3 of installer under options check the box labeled “Enable Extended URL Replace”

    2. After the installer is complete check the installer-log.txt for any notices/errors.
