Clean way to redirect individual pages to https

I want to force individual pages to https (as opposed to the entire site) and I’ve had no luck trying to find a plug-in to do this.

Presumably I can do it manually by adding redirect code to the htaccess file, but I’ve seen comments that suggest WordPress doesn’t play well.

So is there a proper way to do this that won’t conflict with WordPress?

(I’m using WP Super Cache too if that makes any difference)
