how to change text on invoice

  • Hi there,

    i simply need to change the word “Lieferung” (shipping/delivery) above the totals to a better german translation. Already got my own template in child theme (invoice.php).

    @td8000 Apologies for the delayed response.

    You will need to change that word in the WooCommerce plugin’s language file as it is coming from there. The file is: wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce-de_DE.po . You will need to use a software like https://poedit.net/ . Or you can also use a web-based PO to MO file converter: https://po2mo.net/ .

    For example, I changed the string “Lieferung” to “Lieferung 1500” in my PO file (https://screencast.com/t/RzX3CMvih) & used the web-based converter to generate the mo file. Then overwrite the mo file in the same location above as the po file.
