We have an internal site set-up for our employees to submit work requests. We want it to be private requiring a log-in, but we do not want them seeing the backend admin area. Is this possible with Security Shield? We currently us a plug-in called “My Private Site” but it is causing a conflict and the author suggested we find a different plug-in.

Paul thank you for your response. Actually I was looking for a way to make the site viewable beyond the log-in page only by those assigned a log-in. Just a short while ago I resolved it with a plug-in called “f(x) Private Site”. However I am going to take a closer look at Security Shield as a way to help reduce spam. Thank you!

No problem. Glad you got it sorted.

I’m not quite sure of the problem exactly then… I might not have fully understand what you were saying in the first post. This will prevent viewing admin and login by all users without the custom url.
