All fonts are bold (and shouldn’t be)

Hi there, where is the bold appearing? I’ve checked your home page and a few of your posts and pages, and using my web inspector I do not see any evidence of bold font-weight.

Would you be able to provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing? I’ve tried looking at several of my pages in two different browsers and the font looks wrong in Chrome, but right in Safari. I have no idea why this would happen.

Hi @breecrowder, here are three screenshots from Safari, Chrome and Firefox on my Mac.

Safari (Version 10.1.1 (12603.2.4))
Chrome (Version 59.0.3071.115)
Firefox (Version 54.0.1)

I’m seeing little to no difference.

Look at the preferences for fonts in Chrome. My font size is set to Medium (Recommended) and here is a screen shot of my Customize fonts section.

Hi there, So that you can compare, can you give me the name of the page you would like me to screenshot and I would be happy to do that.

We’ve already both screenshoted the same page, and they’re both looking wrong. I then screenshoted the page using a different browser and it looks right. I’m wondering why the difference.

You’ll see in the screenshot that I’ve left above, that’s what the font is supposed to look like. However, I’m seeing what you’re seeing.

As an update: my font has looked all bold for about a month, and I’m still looking for the solution for this. Perhaps something in my CSS got messed up which is making all of the font bold? I can’t find it, but that might be the case?

As another example, in the following image, the text that has a RED arrow pointing to it is supposed to be bold, and the text with the BLACK arrow pointing to it is NOT supposed to be bold. However, they look exactly the same.

I have the same issue! My site’s all of the sudden all changed to BOLD recently! Can anyone help?

I have checked your site and found that this is not only a font weight issue.
If you compare these screenshots then you will find that complete font family is different.

Font weight is normal but family is different.

Please make confirm that you are using correct font family.
