Side cart underneath top menu :-(

    Hi there,

    First of all a massive congratulations for such a fantastic WP plugin! Utterly awesome.

    I was wondering though if you had any ideas as to how I could fix a problem I am having with it though?

    I am using Shiftnav Pro on a site for when the site is shown on a mobile device. WooCommerce Side Cart is being added to the document code nested underneath this navigation bar so when you click the cart icon on a mobile the top part of the cart (the title / header) is hidden underneath the main menu.

    I can’t (I don’t believe) bring the cart any higher using z-index as it is literally nested in the html code with the Shiftnav Pro menu bar being the parent and then the side cart is a child of that.

    Is there any way therefore of getting the cart to be attached somewhere else so that it can appear at the very top of the screen no matter what device it is on?

    Thank you so much for coming back to me so quickly. Sorry I hadn’t been able to reply but for some reason www.remarpro.com was not letting me login with my correct username and password. I seem to have to reset them every single time which is a complete pain.

    I’ve attached an image here to show what I mean :

    Side Cart Problem

    This was taken using the developer tools in Firefox Developer Edition but that same problem is indeed exhibited on mobile devices too. The top (header part) of the cart is showing up underneath the top-bar of the site and I’ve not been able to get it to appear above so far. I’ve tried z-index but can’t get it to work.

    Hi there,

    Was just wondering if you’d possibly had a chance to look at this at all? I’d really really love to use this plugin on a site but this is causing issues at the moment.

    I’d be really appreciative if it could be made to work as this is a simply fantastic plugin and although it is only a small problem it does make using the cart a little difficult for the end user.

    Hello,

    “shiftnav-wrap” wraps all of the page content including side cart markup.
    So z-index is not going to work.
    As this is plugin conflict issue , kindly mark this as resolved & message here in the chatbox.
    Will tell you the solution on site.
