• Because of underlying memory issues and problems with the underlying database, as well as being unable to upgrade directly to 2.7, I have elected to reinstall WordPress on the server.

    I’m following instructions at https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/restore/

    I am trying to recover the backup file using PhPAdminbut when doing so, I get the following error messages when attempting the restore:

    SQL query:

    INSERT INTO wp_postmeta
    VALUES ( 38622, 60, ‘interest’, ‘a:2:{i:0;i:0;i:1;d:0.003173316242136699390219423122516673174686729907989501953125;}’ ) ;

    MySQL said: Documentation
    #1062 – Duplicate entry ‘38622’ for key 1

    Can anyone help please?

    Ok, bit more on this.

    The file that I mention above is 39MB in size and has the error issue.

    I have another backup file from a few days previous, around 1.9MB. This uploads fine and content seems to be in all the tables. Except that when I go to Wp-admin, nothing is there at all.

    Am I missing something?
